Campers are required to wear identifying camp T-Shirts and security bracelets when outside of camp. Campers are always well supervised and not allowed to leave camp for any reason aside from supervised field trips.

Camp Judaea has hired security 24/7. All visitors check in at the office and are escorted during their visit.

The Kehilah Care Team (KCT), staffed by licensed professionals in mental health, occupational therapy, and psychology fields, provides round-the-clock support to ensure every camper thrives. KCT is responsible for guiding staff, helping campers adjust to group living, and address behavioral and emotional needs with expertise and care. Dedicated to fostering social-emotional growth, the team creates a positive and supportive camp experience for all.

Camp Judaea is proud to be a recipient of the Foundation for Jewish Camps’ Yedid Nefesh Grant, recognizing the importance of enhanced staffing and training to meet the growing complexities of mental, emotional, and social health at camp.

Full-time medical staff is available at our Health Care Center (Mirpa’ah) and the Camp has access to nearby hospitals and medical specialists. All of our campers must have a completed health file before they arrive at camp so that our Health Care staff can properly service each person.

Camp Judaea’s Health Care Center is staffed by a resident Physician or Physician’s Assistant, Registered Nurses (RN) and health aides . In addition, staff members are Red Cross certified in CPR, First Aid, Lifesaving, and CPR for the professional rescuer. Camp Judaea meets or exceeds all health and safety standards set by the American Camp Association. This facility includes a private exam rooms, isolation rooms, and separate sleeping quarters for boys and girls.
