Financial Aid & First-Time Camper Incentives: Camp Judaea is committed to ensuring that every family has the opportunity to give their child the enriching benefits of a Jewish summer camp experience. Please see our Tuition Assistance page for more information. Families receiving tuition assistance are required to pay a deposit per camper and be enrolled in a reduced monthly payment plan.
Discounts
Sibling Discount: $150 off each additional sibling attending camp (discount does not apply to the first sibling).
Refer a Camper: For every camper you recruit who has never been to camp and whose siblings have never come to camp, both families receive $100 off the total tuition payment per camper.
Full Summer Discount: Sign up for both sessions and receive $2,000 off the total tuition.
Other Fees
Payments by Credit Card: If paying via credit card, a 3% fee will be added to cover the processing fees. There is no fee for ACH or Debit card payments made on our registration site.
Security Fee: The safety and security of our campers and community remain a top priority. To help offset security costs, a $180 security fee for full-session campers and $90 fee for Rishonim will be added per camper.
Transportation Fees: Tuition does not include transportation to and from camp. Camp Judaea offers optional buses to and from Atlanta, Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro, and Fairfax (VA), as well as group travel from South Florida. Available options and fees vary by session and direction and are subject to minimum registrants and availability.
Other: Charges for oversized or overweight luggage, lice treatment, medical expenses, or other incidental expenses incurred during the summer will be automatically charged to the payment method on file during or at the conclusion of each session.
Payment Schedule & Cancellation Policy
Registration Deposit: A $500 deposit is required to reserve a space for any program before January 1, 2027. For registrations after January 1, 2027, the deposit is $1,000.
Payment Schedule: After the initial deposit, the remaining balance will be divided into equal monthly payments, beginning on the first of the following month. The final payment is due April 1, 2027. Families who register after April 1 must pay in full.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Families who withdraw before January 1, 2027, will be eligible for a full refund, less a $100 admin fee per camper. After that, cancellations will be managed on a rolling schedule (fees are per camper):
- January 1 to February 28: Tuition refundable minus $1,500.
- March 1 – March 31: 50% of tuition will be refunded.
- On or after April 1: No tuition will be refunded.
*Chalutzim’s refund policy is slightly different and will be sent after acceptance into the program.
As a non-profit, Camp Judaea relies on tuition fees to fund our operations. Our staff works year-round to plan for a fun and safe summer, and our cancellation policy takes into account the significant portion of our expenses that are incurred well before summer begins.
